Sumud Stories™ Kufiya Leather Tray is the result of a special collaboration between Hirbawi, the last remaining Kufiya factory in Palestine, and Sumud Stories Fair Trade. Together, we explored how to transform these once-discarded pieces of kufiya fabric into something meaningful, and what emerged exceeded all our hopes.

We are deeply grateful for the love and attention you’ve shown Hirbawi. In response, we are excited to use our platform to spotlight incredible Palestinian initiatives, in addition to the Hirbawi Kufiya. Under the brand of Sumud Stories, this vibrant collective of young Palestinian artists works alongside traditional local artisans to weave tales of heritage and resilience into each product they create.

Please remember, as with previous launches, we’re limiting purchases to one Kufiya per order. However, feel free to add other items to save on shipping costs.

Please also note that due to the large waiting list, we are currently batching our restock email notifications, so that the earliest subscribers can get their notifications before we move on to the next group.
